Elder Williams Mission

  Hey everyone! A lot happened this week, but also not a ton at the same time. I'm going to be very simple but I'll send a better email last week for my last one. 😳🤯 Basically the Catholic church where we live was partying all week long, and so we didn't find as many people and not as many came to church. They were too busy partying. They were celebrating the birthday of one of the saints of the church for a full week. And one of the biggest parts is the whole town makes mole for the Sunday and so all day Saturday they were killing about a million chickens just in the street to prepare for the mole. It didn't smell too pleasant.  I also had my last mission conference and district council, and they were very special.   Hey everyone! It's been a really good and busy week again. I'm kinda running out of ideas for what to write in my emails haha. But here are some of the most important things that happened this week: - We had the baptism of David y Milen! It went super well and they were so excited and happy afterwards it was so great to be a part of their journey towards their first covenant with God. - We were able to invite our friend Erik to be baptized, and he said yes! He is so good and he will do great things in the future. - We went to Puebla tuesday because Elder Webster had to renew his green card and we did like nothing almost all day, we just had to wait. It kinda sucked. - We had exchanges with the Elderes in Texmelucan and I went with my old companion Elder Malacara. It was a good day, we got to eat hamburgers and tortas at a member owned restaurant and then I did 4 baptismal interviews for 4 girls that got baptized this weekend.   Hey everyone!  Sorry this email is gonna be kinda short, time is just flying by like a bullet and especially on Pday. 😅 I have been doing super good, it was a great week as always. Here are some highlights: - We had the baptism for Pamela!!! It was such a super special moment for her and for us to participate, she had lost her mom recently and her grandma is a member of the church and we've had a lot of tender moments with them. God is so good! - We had exchanges with the elders in Zacatelco and it was super fun. We had a cool lesson with a family and they said we were like Jesus' original twelve apóstoles sharing the gospel nowadays. So they have lots of faith even though that's not quite right. 😅 - We celebrated Elder Pavons birthday today - We found 12 new people to teach and 10 people came to church with us. Hey everyone! This week flew by, it was super crazy. We had a lot of success giving out copies of the Book if Mormón like our president challenged us last week. We gave out 41 copies of the Book of Mormon, it was crazy. On Wednesday we actually gave 12 in one day. Super good stuff. We also taught a bunch of lessons and it was super good, we found 6 new people to teach, but I'm sure we'll find more to teach this next week from all the books that we gave. And we had 10 people come to church so that was super cool. Miracles are real. We also had a Mission leadership council in Puebla, it was also really good. It was focused a lot on the brand new missionaries we got and will be getting and how to set the mission culture in the right way for them. It's kinda hard for me to think of how to apply it, cause there are no new missionaries in our zone, and I won't be here when the new ones get here. But it was crazy to think about when I got to the mission and what it was like. I...

Hey everyone, it's your güero friend here again. I hope you are all well and that you have a great 4th of July today! This week has been good as always, we've been busy as can be. We have had a lot of work and lessons in the Totolac Ward, and we have spent a lot of time finding and contacting in the Tule Ward. There isn't as much happening in the Tule Ward, most people we find to teach just lose interest or disappear like after a week. But in Totolac we have seen a lot of blessings in finding people that want to learn and grow and make promises with God. It's been great all around. We had a mission conference this week and that was super cool. It's my second to last one. 🤯 I kinda don't like the thought of that. But our mission president challenged us to give out 3 copies of the Book of Mormon per missionary each day. So we have to give at least 6 each day. Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't get around to writing a weekly letter last week, I kinda had no motivation to do it haha. As you can probably guess from the title, I got Covid. I got sick Sunday and we had to stay at home basically this whole last week. It wasn't too fun to be honest. But now we're out again so that's good. So the story is two Thursdays ago I had exchanges with Elder Alvarez in Zacatelco and I went and did a baptismal interview in person and that persons mom had Covid... I didn't know it at the time but the elders called me and told me, and then I got Covid. Yay.  But anyways, to report on two weeks ago  it was actually a really really good week! I had exchanges with Elder Alvarez and Elder Trevino and it was great. And we found 9 new people to teach and 12 of our friends that we invited came to church, it was a great time. Hey everyone!  I hope you all have been well. I heard that there was some rain in Show Low this last week and that was an awesome answer to prayers. I know how it gets around those parts this time of year. 😅 This week has been good for me. It's been a time of a lot of reflecting on what I can change and do better as a missionary. I learned a lot this week. The majority focused on service and charity the pure love of Christ. To start off, we had exchanges with the assistants. I went with Elder Hernandez, he's the new assistant and he's from Chihuahua. It was a really good day, I learned a lot and I actually enjoyed our exchange. I haven't really enjoyed exchanges with the assistants in the past. But we worked hard, we invited Kevin who is the son of Erendira to be baptized and he accepted! We also gave out 6 copies of the Book of Mormon and taught some other good lessons. We talked a lot that night, cause he wanted to know my thoughts on why we weren't having a ton ...

Hey everyone! What's up! Que tranza? It's been a super great week again, maybe it's cause the mission is just so great. 🤔 But for reals, this is some good stuff. Here's some highlights and stuff. - We went to a lesson with Erendira (the lady that gave us chicken soup last week) and she was telling us all about her experiences reading the Book of Mormon, and then she said she wants to be baptized. 💪 And then when she came to church, she was the first person to bear her testimony, and it was so powerful. She's ready for the gospel. - We also were teaching a guy named Valentin on the phone, and he's been going through some hard times, and he said he wants to be baptized too. So we set a goal for him to be baptized in July, we'll see what happens.  - We found 8 new people to teach, two of them were from us sharing the Book of Mormon, 5 of them were from working with members, and the other one is Erendiras son.
