Happy are we! 7-18-2022

 Hey everyone! 


Sorry this email is gonna be kinda short, time is just flying by like a bullet and especially on Pday. 😅 I have been doing super good, it was a great week as always. Here are some highlights:

- We had the baptism for Pamela!!! It was such a super special moment for her and for us to participate, she had lost her mom recently and her grandma is a member of the church and we've had a lot of tender moments with them. God is so good!

- We had exchanges with the elders in Zacatelco and it was super fun. We had a cool lesson with a family and they said we were like Jesus' original twelve apóstoles sharing the gospel nowadays. So they have lots of faith even though that's not quite right. 😅

- We celebrated Elder Pavons birthday today

- We found 12 new people to teach and 10 people came to church with us. And we gave out 38 copies of the Book of Mormon. There was some huge miracles with that. 

- We were able to invite two of our great friends to be baptized, Diego and Ana Sarith, they have some amazing faith in Jesus Christ.

- We ate some good food as always. 😁

I miss you all, and I guess I'll see you soon haha.

Not Phase 3? 3-29-2021

  Hello everyone! This week has been such a good week! We had some more Elders over to do exchanges with the Zone Leaders this week and it was really fun! And we got to do exchanges ourselves! It was a blast, we had the Gaylord Elders over and the Petoskey Elders. It was super fun, every time we have Elders come over we go to this soda shop called Rocket Fizz. I've been there so many times since I've been here, they  have all these fun flavors of soda! There are so many, and they are all come in bottles. When we are done we smash them with our bare hands. Yeah, that's right. We had a lot of good lessons this week, we met with Jon a few times, Shelly a few times, the Millner family a few times, Maida a few times, and it was great! Unfortunately, something came up for Maida's baptism and it will be postponed for now. But she is still super excited to continue learning and eventually be baptized! And some more exciting news!   Hey everyone! So Mexico has still been treating me well. I have been having more appointments with the bathroom this week, and we haven't had power in our apartment since Wednesday. And now we're out of gas for our water heater. But it's all good because the Gospel is true! Don't worry, it still has been a good week, we had a lot of blessings and cool experiences. We had a baptism for our friend Rosa García so that was awesome. They had me conduct so I could work on my Spanish, I didn't want to but it turned out okay.  Rosa was definitely prepared, and she is so good! Her daughter was baptized a few months ago, and I think that's what's been helping her coming into the church and believing all of it. They fed us breakfast one morning since we don't have power and brought us tacos one night. They're so good! Also bus rides here you have to hold on for life!  I wonder how often they have to replace their brakes, they use them a ton. But we rode the b...

Jeffrey R. Holland, Ice cream, and Water for Baptisms 11-8-2021

Hello everyone! So this week was crazy as normal, and I know I always say this, but there was a lot of miracles! Some brief stuff: It was one of the missionaries birthdays in our zone so we went and bought him a cake and celebrated with him for like 20 min. We visited Central Puebla last P-day, and it's full of shops and culture, it's so cool! And today we went to this cool burger place, the shakes were wild! We had baptismal interviews that went well for our friends thanks to our district leader and mission president. My Spanish has come a long way since I've got here, God is good. It's all Him in this work! I bought some Halloween mask, and yeah. It's really funny too, because kids only want money instead of candy for Halloween. 😂 And they dressed up and did that for 4 days after Halloween too!
