Williams and the Badface / Just a small town country boy 4-4-2022

Hey everyone!


I don't have much time to write this week, we have transfers and this time we have to do them on Monday. So I'm leaving my area here in Ometoxtla and Coronango, and I'm actually pretty sad. We've been seeing lots of fruits from our labors finally, and now I'm leaving. But I'm going to Tlaxcala (a different state in Mexico but not far) and it will be in a tiny town too. I guess I'm just a small town boy after all. My new companion is Elder Malacara (badface), I was actually living with him when I first got here.

Also, it's been called to my attention I talk too much about food. I apologize, but not really, I just like food. Speaking of, homemade chorizo tacos are really good. 😋

Basically we saw lots of super cool miracles this week. Here are some:
- we found 10 new people to teach! That's crazy! One of them is a family of 6 and they are so good!
- One lady randomly came to our church building Saturday precisely the moment we were walking in, and she's not a member. And then she came to General Conference Sunday.
- Someone that we're teaching and we're now preparing for baptism, his mom wants to listen to the lessons now.
- We had people come to General Conference!
- General Conference just by itself! The Spirit is so strong in those meetings. 😁

But yeah, if you didn't watch General Conference, go and watch it. And if you did, remember to study the talks, they're so good!

  Hello everyone! This week has been such a good week! We had some more Elders over to do exchanges with the Zone Leaders this week and it was really fun! And we got to do exchanges ourselves! It was a blast, we had the Gaylord Elders over and the Petoskey Elders. It was super fun, every time we have Elders come over we go to this soda shop called Rocket Fizz. I've been there so many times since I've been here, they  have all these fun flavors of soda! There are so many, and they are all come in bottles. When we are done we smash them with our bare hands. Yeah, that's right. We had a lot of good lessons this week, we met with Jon a few times, Shelly a few times, the Millner family a few times, Maida a few times, and it was great! The only light I need is the light of Christ! 10-2-2021

  Hey everyone! So Mexico has still been treating me well. I have been having more appointments with the bathroom this week, and we haven't had power in our apartment since Wednesday. And now we're out of gas for our water heater. But it's all good because the Gospel is true! Don't worry, it still has been a good week, we had a lot of blessings and cool experiences. We had a baptism for our friend Rosa García so that was awesome. They had me conduct so I could work on my Spanish, I didn't want to but it turned out okay.  Rosa was definitely prepared, and she is so good! Her daughter was baptized a few months ago, and I think that's what's been helping her coming into the church and believing all of it. They fed us breakfast one morning since we don't have power and brought us tacos one night. They're so good! Also bus rides here you have to hold on for life!  I wonder how often they have to replace their brakes, they use them a ton. But we rode the b...

Jeffrey R. Holland, Ice cream, and Water for Baptisms 11-8-2021

Hello everyone! So this week was crazy as normal, and I know I always say this, but there was a lot of miracles! Some brief stuff: It was one of the missionaries birthdays in our zone so we went and bought him a cake and celebrated with him for like 20 min. We visited Central Puebla last P-day, and it's full of shops and culture, it's so cool! And today we went to this cool burger place, the shakes were wild! We had baptismal interviews that went well for our friends thanks to our district leader and mission president. My Spanish has come a long way since I've got here, God is good. It's all Him in this work! I bought some Halloween mask, and yeah. It's really funny too, because kids only want money instead of candy for Halloween. 😂 And they dressed up and did that for 4 days after Halloween too!
