The power of Abuelitas 11-1-2021!
¡Hola todos!
This week has been really busy, and had
some frustrating moments, but we are all good! We of course still saw
some miracles, we were able to set a date for another one of our friends
to be baptized, so that was pretty cool!
We
also went out one night with with the Elders quorum president of the 1st
ward to visit a lot of less active members, and it was good. And a lot
of people we visited actually came to church yesterday, so that was cool
too! We also had lots of lessons this week in general.
We
had exchanges with the assistants this week too, and it was not what I
expected. After that, let's just say I'm more grateful for the companion
I have. 😐 That day wasn't very productive, but we took a bus for like
an hour, to an hour and a half to visit someone for 20 minutes. We
invited the guy to be baptized, so that was cool.
We
also helped a old Pentecostal lady push a wheelbarrow for a while this
week, and I talked with her the whole time. She just talked about her
church the whole time, it was funny. And she was pretty good at throwing
rocks at dogs, nothing can stop her. 😂
This
week overall, was good but I had been frustrated with my companion for
various reasons. I just haven't had the best mindset this week. I thing
that's one reason why our exchange was mediocre, was to help me be more
grateful for my companion. And yesterday my companion and I sat down and
had a good discussion. We both talked of things we can work on and I
think things will be looking a lot better. When in doubt, so down and
talk it out. I think it was mostly a lack of communication that got us
there, but we both have good intentions and want to move the work
forward. And I know we will be more unified from now on.
Love you all!
