I fell into temptation 11-15-2021

So you're probably wondering the title of my email. Remember that cake I bought for 50 pesos ($2.50) a few weeks ago? I tried to stay away again but it went on SALE! 🤯😵 It cost 36 pesos ($1.75) this week. So I fell in temptation, I bought it and ate it in like 4 days. But it was worth it.


We also had the baptism of our friend Paulina on Sunday it was such a good baptism! It rained just before which was cool as well, I love the rain. It was a little stressful preparing for the baptism and printing the programs, but everything worked out. It was a beautiful baptism, she has come such a long way in such a short time. The gospel has definitely been true and changed her life.

We also had exchanges with the Elders from Coronango. We had a good time I learned a good amount of things from the Elder I was with, Elder Mariscal. He's really good, he likes to learn a lot of different things, and he's been trying really hard to learn English. He's so good.

We also go once a week with our Elders Quorum President to visit less active members in the ward. One family we visited this week is pretty big, and there is one lady named Olivia that is not a member, and her father lasted away recently. So we shared several scriptures stories with her and shared our testimonies. And we gave her a blessing, and I gave her mother in law a blessing of health, she's a member. When we met with them again, they were talking about how the blessings worked and they have been a lot better. The power of priesthood is real.

But yeah, that's all I remember off the top of my head, so Eso es todo amigos!!

  Hello everyone! This week has been such a good week! We had some more Elders over to do exchanges with the Zone Leaders this week and it was really fun! And we got to do exchanges ourselves! It was a blast, we had the Gaylord Elders over and the Petoskey Elders. It was super fun, every time we have Elders come over we go to this soda shop called Rocket Fizz. I've been there so many times since I've been here, they  have all these fun flavors of soda! There are so many, and they are all come in bottles. When we are done we smash them with our bare hands. Yeah, that's right. We had a lot of good lessons this week, we met with Jon a few times, Shelly a few times, the Millner family a few times, Maida a few times, and it was great! The only light I need is the light of Christ! 10-2-2021

  Hey everyone! So Mexico has still been treating me well. I have been having more appointments with the bathroom this week, and we haven't had power in our apartment since Wednesday. And now we're out of gas for our water heater. But it's all good because the Gospel is true! Don't worry, it still has been a good week, we had a lot of blessings and cool experiences. We had a baptism for our friend Rosa García so that was awesome. They had me conduct so I could work on my Spanish, I didn't want to but it turned out okay.  Rosa was definitely prepared, and she is so good! Her daughter was baptized a few months ago, and I think that's what's been helping her coming into the church and believing all of it. They fed us breakfast one morning since we don't have power and brought us tacos one night. They're so good! Also bus rides here you have to hold on for life!  I wonder how often they have to replace their brakes, they use them a ton. But we rode the b...

Jeffrey R. Holland, Ice cream, and Water for Baptisms 11-8-2021

Hello everyone! So this week was crazy as normal, and I know I always say this, but there was a lot of miracles! Some brief stuff: It was one of the missionaries birthdays in our zone so we went and bought him a cake and celebrated with him for like 20 min. We visited Central Puebla last P-day, and it's full of shops and culture, it's so cool! And today we went to this cool burger place, the shakes were wild! We had baptismal interviews that went well for our friends thanks to our district leader and mission president. My Spanish has come a long way since I've got here, God is good. It's all Him in this work! I bought some Halloween mask, and yeah. It's really funny too, because kids only want money instead of candy for Halloween. 😂 And they dressed up and did that for 4 days after Halloween too!
